I need help with logistics of cross border down payment/purchase of old 1964 van. Van is in Florida, Buyer is in Toronto Canada.
After looking for many years, I've finally found the perfect vehicle (many years ago I had the SAME ONE and loved the simplicity and style)
for occasional errands and local trips about town.
The refinished Ford cargo van is in Southern USA, owned by a landscaper who is forced by health issues, to sell it.
No haggling, I'll pay his asking price, but due to my work schedule, cannot go see it and shake his hand in person till first week in May.
He's a gentleman and has spent many hours improving the motor and mechanical areas of it... and is pleased someone who will appreciate and use it - not flip it.
To show him I am for real and serious, I want to send him a Grand ASAP... and balance upon or meeting.
Any suggestions ?
