PayPal has now locked me out of my account after I set up all the Security measures

I have been trying to use my PayPal balance to purchase a gift card off PayPalGifts and after a few attempts PayPal has locked me out of my account, denied the use of my phone number and wont take any others. This is ridiculous, I shouldnt have to deal with this the legit second day the account has been open.
