Need Clarification on Purchases With 0.00 Balance

I have my bank and a credit card link to my account. If I try to send someone money while I'm at a $0.00 balance on my PayPal account, will the money still transfew from my bank or credit card? If so, how can I choose whether it'll be the bank or credit card?

hi, normally your bank account is your default funding source.

But either way you do not need funds in your paypal account balance as paypal will take from any other funding source linked to your paypal account.

If you want to choose a card instead then click on ''change'' during the payment process and you can select a card instead.

Thanks for the response. I haven't seen the option to change whether the money comes from my bank or credit card yet. I'll look again next time
