Instant payment not working again

And again,the instant transfer doesn't work..This is getting annoying..I have my bank account linked to my paypal account, have used intant transfer before..And now it doesn't work..I was trying to buy a game on steam, and now it wants me to link a credit card to my paypal account...Never ONCE have I ever had a credit card linked to my paypal

Depending on the transaction, some payments may require a back up payment method such as a debit or credit card. When a payment is being attempted, PayPal's internal security model reviews many different facets of the payment.

If there's a chance that the payment may be of higher risk, PayPal may ask for additional information to confirm the account holder's payment authorization.
