preferred payment method not taking effect on existing auto-payments

I recently changed my preferred payment method to a cr-card, from a bank-account. I'm noticing that existing/periodic auto-payments are still pulling from my bank-account. (These are payments to Spotify, for example) What do I need to change to make these types of payments use the preferred cr-card? Thanks much.

Go to Profile > Payments > Manage Preapproved Payments

You can click each merchant to set the method or click Set Available Funding Sources link at the top of the list.
