e Check Fraud from Buyer - how to report scammer?

I was just scammed on eBay. A buyer with tons of positive feedback paid through an eCheck. I decided (foolishly) to ship since I've neer had an e Check NOT clear. Then, the payment is cancelled after I ship the item. How can they do this? Is there any legal recourse I have against this sort of fraud?

if this is an Ebay transaction and h cancelled the payment,then he has not paid,so you can file with Ebay or send him another payment notice.

Thank you, but he has not responded to my inquiry. I have decided to file a case with the Internet Crime Complaint Center. I will not be defrauded and am only too happy to give the FBI all the information they need to put him away.

FBI is not going to put him away or look into your case,report him to Ebay so he would be suspended if he does it too many times.

echeck takes time to clear,usually you get a notice not to ship until it clears.
