I had an event and collected credit card info. with up to $1000 gifts. How do I enter in PayPal so my organization gets the donation?

What you have in mind is not possible via your PayPal Account.

There's basically 2 options -

PayPal Here or Virtual Terminal

Virtual Terminal is an option that does cost $30 a month unless you are already using Payments Pro (which costs $30 a month) - Virtual Terminal is included with Payments Pro.

Better option is to use PayPal Here as the "app" lets you enter Credit Card info manually or no card present transactions - you will pay a higher transaction processing fee (3.5% + $0.15 verses 2.7% per US card swipe) but, it works.
