I changed my primary email address.
I sent an invoice with the old address that has not been paid.
I clicked on the invoice number and it shows the new email address.
I sent a reminder explaining that the email address had changed, and checked "send me a copy".
The copy went to the old address and the invoice still has the old email address.

Try canceling the old invoice and create a new one and send that to yourself and the sender.

That would be a workaround; what I want is for Paypal to confirm whether there is a bug and if so, to fix it.
I should not have to do a workaround. I will wait to see what happens when the buyer pays. If it doesn't work, I will be forced to re-do it, but hopefully, this is just a bug in the resend, and the payment will still come through.
