I've refunded a buyer four nights ago through PayPal which I thought went through ok.
The buyer is now asking why it's pending in their account and can I release the pending for them.
Is there any way I can do this or PayPal do this. Also why has this happened / what can I do because this issue has gone on too long.

A seller can ONLY refund via funds already in their paypal balance OR via their bank account as an echeque which takes a few days to clear.
Advice is voluntary.

My refund was only through PayPal. Never used bank account.
I don't know what the seller used, but they still want me to remove the 'Pending' off their account.
I've looked at other similar issues, is this a 5 working days to clear problem?
As I can't access their account to remove said 'Pending', should they be contacting PayPal to see when the money will be back in their account?

As i said unless the seller had cleared funds in their paypal balance to issue a refund then it would come from their bank account.
If that is the case it is pending until it clears from the sellers bank account > paypal > buyer.

I've found the relevant info within these pages which explains the process from a sellers point of view (me).
Just need to wait for the buyer (them) to wait for payment to be cleared.
