Trying to get instant payment instead of e check

Has anyone had this problem with larger payments?  Ive had it twice where the payment is an echeck by needs 5 biz days to clear.  Other payments from the same person are available right away and there seems to be no logic to it...

The logic seems to be the larger payments.

On the other hand, you don't know the details of the sender's accounts which would likely have a huge impact on how the funds are sent.

if your buyer has linked a credit card,Paypal is willing to front  the money for him and get it from the bank later,but with larger amount,Paypal is not willing to do so.

also you dontknow  what else he is buying
