If you are having the same issue as I was where you cannot print international shipping labels and get the error message saying we can't create the label at this time try again later, this quick fix will work until they get the issue resolved.
Do everything you normally do, but when you go to fill out the customs form, select 'documents' as the category of item, and then in the spaces below, type what the item actually is as normal. Then you can proceed and print the label as usual. After you print the label, just cross the word 'documents' out on the label and write in 'gift' or whatever category you usually do.
