PayPal the Only Processor? Any Cons?

Hello we have used paypal in conjunction with our CC processor. Our CC processor is very expensive and we received a call from PayPal stating we can save a lot of money.

I am a bit wary of just using PayPal.

I want to have the same ability for my customers to just click through and add their CC number and never leave our site. I know this is possible but just want to hear from others if they just use paypal vs. paypal and a CC processor. Thank you so much.

websites and some Ebay sellers offer both Paypal and credit cards thru their merchant account.

Paypal offers seller protection, make sure you read them, also the fee schedule.

The problem with chargeback from a Paypal user is that you dont get to deal direct with his cc issuer,it is Paypal which owns the merchant account,so your chance of winning is not as good.
