Need a Custom Report - Kind of!

 Hi PayPal Community,
I am having a problem. I have downloaded a report under "Activity Download" for the month of December 2016. How do I get a field on that report, that I have entered my own number into? In other words, when I am sending Customer XYZ an invoice, where can I put in my own internal number for my own internal tracking? Say this number is 1236. I need to type this number (1236) somewhere on the invoice, so that it will show up in my Activity download. I will use this Activity download for my importing to my own database.

Thanks Sharpiemarker, I tried that, but Invoice # doesn't show up on my report. Even if it did, I prefer to reserve that for when I have a PO number.

You can add your control number in description field and write your own software to extract it and make it a field so you can sort it,search it and list it.
