Absolute power corrupts absolutely. PP has been pending my payment for an item I shipped days ago priority post. I guess it must be nice to get that interest sitting in the bank.

Nice Lord Acton quote. & funds are kept in escrow, not an investment vehicle PayPal manages. 

And for safety reasons funds get held for date received + 3 days until you establish your self. Otherwise lots of scammer sellers would run off with funds.

Is it pending IN your paypal balance?

If so if you are a new seller was it an Ebay transaction or private Paypal transaction?

If Ebay then funds are 'normally' released when tracking shows delivery of the item +3 days.

If its Paypal then its 'normally' released when tracking shows delivery + 7 days.
