I need to see an email address of a sender, how to do it?

Hello.

I am a new PayPal user. I need to have an email address of people sending me money through PayPal, and I an figuring out a way to do that.

I have two question. Could you please help me answering them?

1) If someone sends me money through PayPal, can I see their email address?

2) If the answer to 1) is no, is there a way how someone who sends me money through PayPal can send me a quick message containing their email address?

1. Yes its on the email you received when they pay AND if you click on the transaction in your paypal account its also on that 'details' page.

Yes - you'll see their email address in the Transaction details.

As an option for previous transactions, you can also download or export your account activity records - there's a field that would contain the email address for each record.

Download or export your Transaction History, here's how:

* Login to your account.
* Click "Activity"
* Under "Simple" "Detailed"
* Click on "Statements"
* Click on "Activity export"
* Select "Custom Date Range"
* Select your "From" and "To" Dates
* Under the Format drop down - Select "CSV"
* Click "Create Report"
* When the report is completed - click "Download"


What this process does is export your history to a CSV file, you can then use an app like Excel to sort, view, create and print your own reports.
