How to LOCK my account

Hi there, is there a way to lock a paypal account? I can log in to my Capital One credit card and click a button that completly locks my account if I wish. I can turn this on and off whenever I wish. Is there a way to do the same thing to my paypal account?

Thanks for reaching out to us here, and welcome to the community!

This is not an option in PayPal currently, but it is a great suggestion! Currently customer service is able to lock the account for you if you were to call and request it. Once an account is locked, you are not able to log in, so you would need to give us a call again when you wanted to have the account unlocked.
