Ebay showing paid with PayPal transaction ID. No money in my PayPal.

I sold an item got a notification from ebay showing item paid.  On ebay i click view paypal transaction and sure enough i see an invoice paid but there is nothing on my actual paypal account and calling paypal they say there is no history of payment.
