Do I need a business license?

I want to start selling my art, and I would like to use PayPal because it let's you create invoices. Do I need a legal business to have a business account? I see people saying yes and no. It asks for a (legal business name) so I'm guessing I need a business license?

No,just register in your name and give your SS ,many sellers are sole proprietorship
