Hi,
I purchased something through paypal and the company I was purchasing from seemed to have been given my credit card info because I was charged an additonal $1.11 to the actual credit card not paypal. Paypal still did the actual payment, but this extra 1.11 on my account is a bit disconcerning. Has this happened to anyone else? Isn't our information supposed to be just through paypal and not the company that we are purchasing from?

You card has not been compromised as some merchants use the Authorize and Capture method to process orders/payments which allow them to charge a different amount if the amount due for the order changes due to taxes, gratuity, shipping costs, or item availability, therefore your merchant can modify the original authorization amount.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
