Case settled

I recently bought an item on eBay. After it didn't arrive I opened a case. A short while later eBay sent an email saying they were going to close the case if I didn't respond. I responded and asked that they NOT close the case because I had been in contact with the seller; he had been in and out of the hospital and hadn't been able to send it. He sent it 2 days ago, and on that day eBay/paypal refunded my payment and charged him. I expect the package within the next 2 days. How do I get eBay/paypal to change their case decision so that I do not have to resend the money without any protection from eBay???

Once the  case is closed,it cannot be re open.

You should pay your seller after examining the item .

you can send him under goods and services and describe the item,if not satisfied ,you can open a dispute.
