Adding money

I tried to add money to my PayPal using a prepaid gift card it is saying the money was sent but then paypal said i cant send money to myself so where did my money go? It is no longer on the gift card.

@Grams0990  That one you may have to call PayPal about ... I assume you have record of making the transaction?  They may wind up having to issue you a new PayPal gift card.

Shocked that the transaction went through to be honest. I take it you went to the Send & Request page to do it.  Sending money to yourself or adding money to your PayPal account with a credit, prepaid gift card is a violation of PayPal TOS because using a card to send yourself funds is actually a violation of your agreement with the card company, and is considered avoiding cash advance fees.  Suggest you contact PayPal customer support to find the whereabouts of your money.
