Hello, I am forming an unincorporated association (non-profit), and we were hoping to open a separate business account to collect donations.
We don't have a bank account because we are unincorporated right now, though I guess I could use a personal account? That seems like bad form. Could we even open a business paypal account to collect funds?
Assuming we could:
I see "Nonprofits must verify their status to withdraw donations they receive. Users that are not verified nonprofits must demonstrate how their donations will be used, once they raise more than $10,000."
We will be raising less than $10,000 (most likely), but we do not have a 501(c)3 status yet—will we be able to use our funds to purchase things online or open a mastercard?
