Im creating a mult-vendor site simliar to etsy that utilizes Addaptive Payments and PayPal Express.
example 1 question:
A person makes a purchase on the website for $20 and the payment is split 80/20%. The website business receives $4 and the vendor (they will have a personal paypal account) selling services on the website receives their share or commision for $16. Note: these will be small dollar amounts, wouldnt expect an individual vendor to accrue more than $200 a month
How are the transaction fees applied? Is there a transaction fee applied each to website business and the vendor or just one to the website business. Or is there just one transaction fee applied to the website business?
example 2 question:
A person makes a purchase on the website for $20 and the payment goes 100% to the vendor. The website business receives $0 and the vendor selling services on the website receives their share or commision for $20.
In this case is the transaction fee only applied to the vendors paypal account?
