I have two PayPal Here card readers (one is for backup). One of them just stopped working less than two months after purchasing it: it won't turn on, won't reset, and won't charge. Can anyone tell me what I can do to get this resolved/fixed/replaced?
The other issue I have is that the second reader refuses to accept chip and PIN payments. It hangs on 'Processing' with the card inserted. I have to cancel the transaction by removing the card, and then manually enter the card details which of course then adds a higher transaction fee. Mighty convenient for PayPal...
Does anyone know how to resolve that, as well?
I am at my wits end with PayPal Here, I really am. I am thinking of going to the Financial Ombudsman over the service I've received. Has anyone had to do that before and does anyone have any advice?
