New PayPal & Transaction ID's

Hello,

Under the new PayPal Interface, the behavior of searching by Transaction ID has made a fundamental change in behavior.

 

Under old interface, a customer could give us their transaction ID they received in their email, then we could search for it. It would usually say something like "Found this transaction that relates to the transaction you searched for".

 

This was a convenient way for when a customer had issues to look up the transaction.

 

Now, the new search interface simply fails to find the Transaction.

 

We've tried to get customers to give us Receipt ID's instead, but they still keep sending Transaction ID's.

 

Is there any way to restore the old search behavior?
