I have just changed my business structure from a Sole Trader to a Private Company. How can I update this in Paypal. I called the support and the guy wasn't very helpful - he said I have to close this account and create a whole new one. Is that the only way?
It's not unusual that it would take multiple calls to PayPal customer service before you find an agent which understands the details of your issue. So, call again.

If you would like to downgrade your account from a Business account to a Personal account? If that is what you are trying to accomplish it would be best to contact Customer Service by clicking the Contact link at the bottom of any PayPal page (even though you have already tried) or you can contact us on Twitter or Facebook and we'd be happy to help you get this taken care of.
