Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time

Have recently sold items on ebay and received payment. I tried to relist an item and I cannot because I get a message, "Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time" I unlinked my paypal account thinking there was some weird glitch and now I get the message when trying to link the account saying "Your PayPal account must be in good standing in order to link it to your eBay account. Please log in to your PayPal account to see how you can bring your account into good standing" I have no notifications from paypal indicating what this is about.

Do I need to reverify? I’ve had this email acct tied to PayPal and eBay for 20+ years.

So when I tried to use my papal email with eBay I also got the message, "Your PayPal account must be in good standing in order to link it to your eBay account. Please log in to your PayPal account to see how you can bring your account into good standing."  Which makes no sense since I have no message from PayPal indicating that issue. 

The actual issue seems to be that eBay no longer works with PayPal to receive payments. I received a message from eBay saying that they manage the end-to-end selling experience on our marketplace, including payments, so no more PayPal payment processing fees,  you get paid directly to your bank account, not your PayPal account. Weird thing it  said to update my account details by February 14, 2021 to continue creating new listings. "It’s that simple."

Well guess it's not that simple because they caused an issue with my account that should not have had an issue until after February 14th.

Not sure what your response means since all it says is "edited".  The link t the verification process says to add a bank account to verify and I already have that set up.
